What You’ll Be Doing:
- Coordinate Drayage Operations: Ensure containers are picked up and delivered on time with zero hiccups.
- Track Shipments: Use port systems to keep tabs on containers and stay compliant with regulations.
- Handle Paperwork: Manage important documents like bills of lading and customs forms with precision.
- Excel at Excel: Create and manage reports on inventory, shipments, and schedules—pro skills needed!
- Team Up & Troubleshoot: Work closely with logistics and shipping teams to resolve any issues and keep things running smoothly.
- Safety First: Stick to safety protocols and regulations to keep the workplace secure.
Billing must possess a strong background in billing.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Must-Have: Proven experience in container drayage and port operations (seriously, it’s a MUST!)
- High school diploma (logistics or supply chain training is a plus).
- Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar field.
- Familiarity with port websites and tracking software.
- Excel proficiency: You should be a spreadsheet pro!
- Eye for detail, top-notch organization, and multitasking skills.
- Strong communicator with a team-player mindset.
