Truck Yard Worker - General Worker 
Pay Rate: $17 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (First Shift)
Type: Temporary to Permanent (based on performance)
Location: Savannah, GA 31408

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Truck Yard Worker to join our team. This position involves working outdoors, assisting with strapping and unstrapping cargo, and helping maintain a clean and organized yard as directed by the Yard Supervisor. A positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with strapping and unstrapping cargo on trucks and containers.

  • Keep the yard clean, organized, and free of debris according to Yard Supervisor instructions.

  • Perform general labor tasks as needed to support yard operations.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

  • Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

  • Forklift experience is a strong plus.

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects as needed.
