NOW HIRING: LEAD / JOCKEY DRIVER

Location: Garden City, GA
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, starting at 6:50 AM until finished

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Lead / Jockey Driver to support daily warehouse and yard operations. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, dependable, and comfortable maneuvering trailers in a fast-paced environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Move trailers safely between designated yard and dock locations.

  • Position trailers for loading and unloading.

  • Coordinate trailer movements with warehouse staff and management.

  • Help maintain an organized and efficient yard.

  • Conduct equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

  • Follow all company safety guidelines and operating procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Assist with other yard duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous jockey truck, yard driver, or hostler experience preferred.

  • Valid driver's license and any required qualifications for operating assigned equipment.

  • Ability to maneuver trailers safely in tight spaces.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
