Position Summary

DarkHorse Express Solutions is expanding our on-call team and seeking reliable, high-stamina Freight Handlers. In this seasonal capacity, you will be dispatched during weekdays to unburden incoming shipping vessels and systematically arrange inbound cargo. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive on demanding physical labor, maintain focus amidst heavy warehouse traffic, and require a flexible weekday arrangement.

We utilize a performance-driven compensation structure, meaning your financial reward matches your individual speed and efficiency. Because earnings are tied directly to volume, your hustle dictates your paycheck—the faster you clear and process incoming trailers, the higher your weekly return. This environment is ideal for self-driven workers who want their output reflected in their income.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manually unburden and restock incoming transit containers utilizing basic material-handling tools.

  • Categorize, palletize, and stage materials in designated warehouse zones.

  • Maintain a pristine and organized dock floor to mitigate operational hazards.

  • Strictly observe facility safety protocols and wear all necessary protective gear.

  • Execute instructions from shift supervisors and collaborate with dock teammates.

Candidate Requirements

  • Unrestricted weekday availability to accept short-notice shifts as needed.

  • Physical capacity to repeatedly lift and maneuver bulk cargo weighing up to 100 lbs.

  • Punctual attendance, a strong sense of urgency, and a collaborative mindset.

  • Endurance to sustain high-output physical labor throughout a fast-paced shift.

  • Previous warehouse or dock experience is beneficial, though we train dedicated newcomers.

  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a valuable asset.
